In recent years, most large-scale automobile production enterprises at home and abroad have applied integrated manual intermediate frequency welding tongs, intermediate frequency spot welding robots, and servo technology spot welding robots to the assembly and welding lines of car white bodies, and expanded to spot welding operations of aluminum alloy car bodies.

Reasons for using capacitor energy storage resistance welding:

1. The required power grid energy is small, such as a 10kJ energy storage machine that only requires a 20kVA three-phase power grid, can output large short-circuit currents, and can weld nuts below M12; A 15kJ energy storage machine only requires a 30kVA three-phase power grid, can output a large short-circuit current of 150kA, and can weld nuts below M18.

2. The welding time is short, and the thread of the nut can be measured with a thread gauge after welding, with almost no deformation. The nut basically does not change color after welding, with a small heat affected zone and energy saving. Especially for galvanized nuts, the galvanized layer can be maintained.

The quality of resistance welding is closely related to the set value of welding current, the deviation value of welding current, the fluctuation value of grid voltage during the welding process, the set value of pressure during the welding process, the fluctuation value of pressure during the welding process, the indentation value of the weld core, the indentation speed, the presence of spatter, and the surface condition of the workpiece (such as oil stains, adhesion, plastic deformation coefficient). By quantifying and collecting these elements, analysis can be carried out.
